WHAT IS AYSO?

First, AYSO is a child development program. The AYSO philosophy is for the kids to have fun and feel good about themselves. As coaches, keep this number one in your mind. You want the kids on your team to feel good, as well as the kids on the other team.

Second, AYSO is an enrichment program. As a coach, you are a teacher of fundamental soccer skills, techniques.

Registration for fall will open April 1st.

Fall registration instructions will be available soon.


 Region 68 is located in Camarillo,  California and is part of Area W, Section 10. Our Region has more than 300 teams with over 2500 boys and girls ages 5 to 18 participating in our fall and spring leagues. Our fall season runs from early August to mid-November.  League Champions and All Star teams particpate in Area & Section playoffs from December through early March.  Our spring season is conducted in March and April.  Our tournament teams participate in tournaments throughout Southern California from March through early June, highlighted by the California Strawberry Cup hosted by Region 68 in mid-May.

The 2010 California Strawberry Cup will be held at the recently opened Pleasant Valley Fields on May 15-16 and May 22-23.  For information go to "Strawberry Cup Tournament"

Region 68 Receives AYSO Platinum Award for Second Straight Year

Once again, Region 68 has been named a Platinum Award winner by AYSO.  Platinum Award winner meet and exceed all requirements for conducting an AYSO soccer program..

Region 68 Sending BU19 Team to National Games in West Palm Beach
Region 68 will be sending a BU19 team to play in the AYSO National Games in West Palm Beach in July 2010.  The team is currently fundraising and looking for sponsors to help defray costs.  To find out more about sponsorships, contact Bob Dawson at coachbob@aysor68.org.
