Welcome Youth Referees!

First, we would like to thank each and every one of you for taking time to become a soccer referee. We know many of you are players, committed to having fun playing the game, but to become a referee is exceptional and certainly above and beyond the call of duty.

It is our responsibility as the PRO Coordinators to ensure that you have a safe and fun season. We have set up an e-mail address, r68proreferee@gmail.com, specifically for you to access and use during the season. Please, pass this on to your friends that have registered this season, passed their referee exam and are officially certified referees for our region.

Please let us tell you how the PRO Program works. If you have any questions or soccer related issues you would like to address, this is your direct outlet to the PRO Staff as well as the Regional Referee Administrator, Gil Torres. If you have any questions about a particular law of the game, send us an e-mail. If you would like to request a mentor to help you fine tune your referee skills, let us know and we will get that done for you. We can arrange someone with experience and knowledge to help you. If you had a bad day at the field or had a coach give you some grief, let us know. We have zero (0) tolerance for such actions from coaches and spectators, especially when you are involved. We will take Immediate and Appropriate action to prevent further incidents and to ensure this will not happen again.

Please remember that all e-mails are strictly confidential and will never be forwarded.

Now for the good stuff. We created this "PRO Corner" icon on our Region's website for you. Check here to find out when meetings will occur, parties will be scheduled, as well as important updates.

Another bonus we are working on will be valuable tips for refereeing games as well as a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) link.

Please forward this e-mail address and information about this website on to other player referees. Have them contact us and we will add them to the address list. If they do not have an e-mail address tell them to look for us at the field.  We'll be there most of the day every Saturday and if you can't find one of us. Check at the referee table and they will know where to find us.

One last note! Please check the website regularly for more information on our first player referee party for you which will be at Round Table Pizza. Specific details about the date and time will follow soon.

Thank you again for volunteering to be a referee. We really do appreciate it.
Good luck.
Thank you,
Region 68 PRO Coordinators
